About the Teacher

My name is Lindsay Mann, and I'm thrilled to open enrollment for the 2025-26 school year at The Yellow Door Preschool. My family and I recently relocated to Salem from Colorado Springs, CO, and we've quickly fallen in love with the local community. Having grown up in Salt Lake City, I'm excited to return to Utah and make my dream of opening a preschool a reality. I hold a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in math education. I have taught in both 2nd grade and special needs classrooms. While raising my four kids, I never strayed too far from the schools and stayed involved by teaching small groups for reading and math. I recently had the opportunity to return to work full-time and help teach in Kindergarten. I saw how important that first exposure to school is to a student’s future academic success. I want my preschool to be a place where students gain an excitement for learning and develop the necessary skills to succeed in elementary school. I've designed a curriculum that emphasizes both academic and social skills while also nurturing creativity through a play-based approach. As a mother of four, I bring a foundation of love and understanding, knowing that each child is unique and deserves individual attention. My goal is to create a balanced, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. I look forward to meeting you and your child at The Yellow Door Preschool!
