About the Teacher

My name is Lindsay Mann, and I'm thrilled to open enrollment for the 2026-27 school year at The Yellow Door Preschool. Opening my own preschool has been a dream of mine, and I absolutely love it! I hold a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in math education. I have taught in both 2nd grade and special needs classrooms. While raising my four kids, I never strayed too far from the schools and stayed involved by teaching small groups for reading and math. I also taught for a year in Kindergarten before we moved back to Utah. I saw how important that first exposure to school is to a student’s future academic success. I want my preschool to be a place where students gain an excitement for learning and develop the necessary skills to succeed in elementary school. I've designed a curriculum that emphasizes both academic and social skills while also nurturing creativity through a play-based approach. As a mother of four, I bring a foundation of love and understanding, knowing that each child is unique and deserves individual attention. My goal is to create a balanced, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. I look forward to meeting you and your child at The Yellow Door Preschool!
